Minnesota is one of three teams in MLS that Orlando City has yet to score against. The others being FC Dallas and 2018 expansion side LAFC.
Orlando City’s Justin Meram and Minnesota United’s Ethan Finlay were teammates for five and half years at Columbus Crew SC. Meram scored the goal on Finlay’s first career assist on May 31, 2014. Finlay was traded to Minnesota on Aug. 9, 2017.
